Queueing and Waiting

Well, we are standing in line, waiting to vote early. Th polls open at noon and there is a line half way around the building...

The polling place is beside the Sanford airport, so Charlotte can past the time watching the planes. Hey, isn't that a Tubman PT01? I think it is a male plane....

We are Disney people, so we are used to the lines... But the queue is nothing like Disney's queues!

Oh, quick update for Jarret (and Sam), your gift is on it's way! It should be there in few days! We included Mel's along awaited Grad gift.... Sorry we kept forgetting it, but we did have it before your graduation!

Quick Post...... A Special Note for Jarret

First, I found a photo I took a few weeks ago when I was driving through Oviedo. For those of you readers who are locals to Central Florida, I'm sure you've heard about the famous wild chicken gangs of Oviedo... I thought it was hogwash and local just pulling the legs of tourists.....

I wanted the newborn Darth Vader, but someone *cough*AuntCharlotte*cough* talked me out of it. But not to worry, I will getting you that Boba Fett costume in a few years! I promise!

Family Medical Emergency

Sorry for not posting anything that last week, we've had a family medical emergency last week.

A member of the family broken their leg when a folding table collapsed on them.... It's been a long and trying few days, with 6 more weeks to go. But we are perservering and trying to keep moving forward...





But don't worry too much.... the doctor said everything will be fine in a few weeks....

Although, I don't think Autumn believes them!

Disney Hollywood Studios Quick Photo Tour

We spent the morning over at the DHS, needed to pick up my Donal Darth Maul from SWW, and we took a quick tour around the park. These photos are from a few of the recent changes around the park (click the images for larger versions):

First up are some photos from the ongoing construction of the American Idol attraction:










Next is the new Cars meet and greet area... the area is themed after Casa Della Tires from the movie and is located in the old Toy Story meet and greet area (formerly Al's Toy Barn):




There are a few changes over near MuppetVision 3-D... First of all, still no word on what this thing is or for?!?!





Also, they were working on the sign and the balloon, can you find what changed?

BTW, we did finally get to ride the new Toy Story Midway Mania ride and I took several photos from inside of the atttraction, I will post a review and the photos some time tomorrow.... And look for a post about the Hahir Honeybee Festival and Parade very soon!

Kinda Big House Update

As of Oct 3, we are officially out of the apartment, no need to worry about that dump any more! We are finally settling into the new house, we still need to do a lot of unpacking. Because of work and other things, we haven't been able to do much, but that is going to change this weekend. After I pick up my Donald as Darth Mail big fig and Charlotte gets her Sleeping Beauty Blu-Ray, the rest of the weekend is dedicated to unpacking and setting up the house...

She's getting her feet cleaned and rubbed, but she didn't do anything :)

Last week we also grilled for the first time... not only the first time in the new house, but the first time we've ever grilled! Of course I had to take some photos, check the rest here!



And for those of you keeping score, those are bison burger and cheese hot dogs! The next night, we grilled brats, chorizo sausage, and keilbasas!






And one last thing to talk about... We had a very bad storm come through earlier tonight... I thought it was cool, but the other two chickens in the house didn't enjoy it! Here are some photos of the weather, for the rest, click here:

Mini Family Reunion

I know it's been a while since I last posted anything, things have been really busy lately. Between work and the fact that my desktop died, really difficult to post anything.... but I digress.....

This past weekend we headed home for a mini family reunion! Sam, Mel and Jarrett were down from Kentucky, Mel's dad came over from Savannah, and Aunt Debria joined us from Alabama. I think we even saw Charlotte's best friend Melissa, who rumor has it may be getting married next year :) Everyone, check your calendar dates and let's see who won the "Melissa Wedding" poll... HAHA!

While we were there, we also attended the annual Hahira Honeybee Festival and Parade... I'm uploading the photos from that right now, I will post them later....

First, I just wanted to say how much fun we had hanging with everyone this past weekend and Jarrett is a doll! Poor kid, made to wear a pea pod costume.... Here are a few photos that I took during the weekend:














Well, Sam slammed me a little for not doing something about the pea pod costume. Sorry man, I didn't know anything about it.... but I am working on making it up! Here's a hint, think mini Yoda!
